Associate Producer

ElemenTerra is a single-player VR sandbox where you get to paint the world with nature, restoring a barren planet with thriving ecosystems home to alien plants and creatures. I was the associate producer on the game responsible for assisting department leads in managing their teams as well as acquiring funding for the project, which was eventually published by Starbreeze Studios.

Responsibilities

  • Helped manage a 40 person development team by coordinating asset development, bug triage, and build submissions, resulting in a more efficient production pipeline
  • Streamlined development by assisting department leads in developing sprints for their teams, using JIRA to track tasks and bugs
  • Improved internal communication and development by using Confluence to document the project
  • Initiated partnerships with organizations to secure funding, leading to a $750,000 publishing deal.
  • Gained exposure for the game by leveraging a novel (at the time) technology and utilizing social media for outreach
