Lead Producer
Gear Frontier was a 3v3 team based extreme sports and e-sports inspired customizable car combat racing game. Players would be put in one of two teams with different objectives: Attacking teams would try to destroy the “Chase Truck” before the end of the round by doing as much damage to it as possible, while Defending teams would try to keep it alive by defeating attackers and healing the truck. Initial prototypes for the game were for a “toys-to-life” physical/digital product, but the game pivoted to an e-sports focus after finding the viability of the previous market was unrealistic. I was responsible for production of the in-house programming, art, audio, QA, and design teams, as well as management of an external art team. I also assisted in the business side of the company, though not in an official capacity. We were funded in part by AmplifyLA.
